hello again friends! It has been much too long! These past weeks while I’ve been away so much has happened including two significant deaths inside of less than a month. Losing loved ones is something I don’t think I’ll ever get used to no matter how many times it happens. I avoided posts about the subject matter as I generally like to give at least some sort of optimism here when I can. Unfortunately, in my absence I was unable to find much. This week,however, I found myself thinking less about loss and more about transition. A shift in perspective was exactly what I needed to get back into a creative space. I’ve included a sketch I did tonight to hold you all over until next Sunday! I’ll keep this post short so as to stay upbeat but I will say this… What I’ve learned from loss has been nearly as profound as the loss itself. For everything there is balance. I am so grateful for the life I have to live and I am so looking forward to more adventure. 

Music friends: the title refers to a song by one of my favorite bands, Thrice.
